In search of the simple life

A few weeks ago, I had had enough. I couldn't go on the way I'd been going anymore. Life was rough, too complex and it felt like everything I touched fell to pieces. There I sat in my work's parking lot, 2 hours after clocking out, waiting for the tow truck driver to show up. I was out of gas, and my car battery was dead. I was stuck. Grace was at daycare with no more milk, and Patrick was hours away returning home from Bakersfield. And it was election day! I only had 2 more hours to get home, feed the kids, and go vote! It was in that moment, that I decided things would have to change! I needed to SIMPLIFY. That was a turning point in my life and now I am on this journey to a simpler life for me and my family. I'm starting this blog to track my journey and to share my life's adventures with anyone that cares to read along.
